Renegade Fishing Lures: Do Fish Care About Lure Cost?
There was believe that with a walmart cheap lure you can not catch fish. I may the one will say no, that is not right. Even from cheapest lure we still can catch fish and one thing that we may need to think is fish doesn’t care how much that the lure cost.
Other may say, the cheaper lure doesn’t catch a good game fish, but again I say no that is not true. The term of good lure is relative, if you like the lure and it catches fish (of course when it use properly), then ya it’s a great lure.
But most anglers will buy the best lure they can find, and renegade lure is not on their list.
If you have use the lure with right presentation, right speed, the right depth, than it will catch fish. And again the bass don’t care if your lure cost 1 bucks, of 100 bucks.
I agree the higher priced lures usually have higher quality components, better action on the water, look better or resemble its original form compared to a similar type, cheaper lure.
Using a higher priced lure make people more confidence to fish and due to high confidence they do indeed catch more and bigger fish. Since they are truly confidence and believe with that lure and usually will result in higher concentration which turn that lure to trigger strikes, but not because of they are using better lure.
However I may say renegade lure is not for beginner anglers, you need to modify or change the rings, since they are to small and very weak, use better quality split rings nr.2 or nr.3 rings for replacing them but this is just my personal opinion.
One of the advantage of using this lure is once you understand of using this lure than it will always catch fish, at least happen with me. And my largest fish I caught using renegade lures was a 21,5 lb northern pike and hope I can catch larger. But you need to understand how this lure work properly.
This lure is cheap and if you should lose one you won’t loose much money. You can use this lure for freshwater or saltwater if you like but is more of freshwater lure to me.
